Hi all! My name is Lauren, and I am an amateur equine artist. I have been involved in the model horse hobby since 2019, but I just recently got back into the hobby in 2024. I have been trying to dive into the hobby as much as I could within the time I have been back, completing quite a few pieces, and winning a few NAN cards with them in the process! This blog is mostly to document my process, and how I paint my horses. I will go in depth as to show the process, including the messy stages, the materials I use, and my formulas! I mostly deal in oils and acrylics, but I’ve found some happiness in hand-painted acrylics recently!
